Publishing house

Ediciones Literales Logo

Founded in 2001, Ediciones literales is one of the Spanish-language publishing houses linked to the École lacanienne de psychanalyse.

Its main goal is to publish texts produced within the framework of the ELP and its teaching, thus publishing works written by its members as well as books from other fields such as philosophy, art, history, and gay and lesbian studies that make a significant contribution to the school’s work.

Our purpose is to keep alive the working style of l’École lacanienne de psychanalyse, and to publish works that remain as close as possible to the letter and to the theoretical line opened up by Jacques Lacan.

In its early years, Ediciones literales published the Spanish-language edition of Litoral, from issues 31 to 35 of the Nueva Serie de la revista Litoral, which had been published earlier by Edelp.

Nowadays, alongside our local publications, we have incorporated co-editions, exchanges, and the dissemination of psychoanalytic texts from publishing houses linked to the ELP, from France, as well as from countries in Latin America such as Uruguay, Paraguay, México. Chile, Brasil, and Costa Rica.
