The journal me cayó el veinte came about in Mexico in 2000 stemming from the desire to question the psychoanalytic clinic along with a public of critical readers. Its title comes from a common Mexican expression that, much like a Freudian Einfall, marks a kind of illumination.

Since its inception, me cayó el veinte has been a place for the circulation of texts. Its pages have arising from the reflection on the erotisms brought into play in the analytical exercise, also welcoming contributions from outside this field through articles, essays, reviews, reading notes, etc.

A book in the TEXTOS DE me cayó el veinte series is published along each issue of the journal. Such books publish literary works (novels, essays, stories, letters, etc.) which, in one way or another, are related to the contents of each issue.
